SIMRANGE UST
ULTRA SHORT THROW SIMULATOR
The SIMrange ST is the best option for those who need to maximize the usage of space.
PROJECTION SYSTEM: DLP
NATIVE RESOLUTION: 1080p (1920×1080)
BRIGHTNESS: 3000 ANSI LUMENS
ASPECT RATIO: 16:9 Format
THROW DISTANCE: 0.33 :1 (DISTANCE: WIDTH) INSTALL: FLOOR / CEILING
SIMRANGE ST
SHORT THROW SIMULATOR
With ultra-short throw technology, the UST can be placed as close as 18 inches from the projection surface.
PROJECTION SYSTEM: DLP
NATIVE RESOLUTION: 1080p(1920×1080)
BRIGHTNESS: 3000 ANSI LUMENS
ASPECT RATIO: 16:9 Format
THROW DISTANCE: 0.69 :1 (DISTANCE: WIDTH) INSTALL: FLOOR
Every SIMrange simulator requires a custom mini-gaming computer equipped with laser-hit detection/tracking software. Personal computers are not compatible with this software, making this mini-gaming PC an essential component of every SIMrange setup.
These advanced cameras come equipped with patented laser-hit detection software that enables sub-pixel accuracy when determining shot location in the virtual world of the simulation being projected. These cameras are commonly integrated into the projector to ensure constant alignment and maximum portability. Integration of the laser-hit detection camera is one of the primary features that make SIMrange simulators industry leaders in setup time and ease-of-use. Non-integrated cameras setups are also available and may be preferable if you already own a projector or if portability is not a primary concern.
SIMRANGE ESSENTIALS
LENS OPTIONS
The lens of the laser-hit detection camera is available in two variants. The UST comes equipped with a fish-eye lens, while the ST generally comes equipped with a standard lens. Non-integrated cameras may come equipped with either, and our team of experts will always recommend the lens option that is optimal for your specific simulator setup.
SIMRANGE ROOM DIMENSIONS
ROOM WIDTH
The smallest recommended* screen size is 9’, which requires a room of equivalent width.
*Smaller options available upon request
ROOM LENGTH
The throw ratio (distance from projector to screen) for the UST and ST are:
UST – 0.33: 1 (distance: screen width)
ex. projector 3ft. from wall: 9ft screen
ST – 0.69: 1 (distance: screen width)
ex. projector 6.21ft. from wall: 9ft screen
Recommended: Use the width of the screen to determine the distance to stand from the screen (ex. stand 9ft back from a 9ft screen).
